The Dynamic Power of Prayer

“This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” 1 John 5:14 MEV

Hey friend!

Do you find yourself being challenged when it comes to your prayer life? I must confess that I do. My prayer life can range from being on fire to all the way of almost completely out. There are times when I can pray for hours and other times when I do good to finish a sentence. Can you relate?

The enemy is well aware of the power of prayer and will do his dead-level best to send every distraction hurling our way to keep us from having a vibrant prayer life. This is why we must commit to never giving up no matter what prayer struggle that we face.

I love the promise found in 1 John 5:14, “This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” The amazing thing about prayer is it gives us an unhindered audience with the God of the universe. Prayer is the greatest weapon we can use against the forces of evil. Why? Because prayer engages the dynamic power of God. We can have confidence in knowing that when we cry out in prayer to God, God pays attention. He hears us and He cares about everything that we care about.

Sweet friend, what do you need to talk to God about today? Right now? What burdens do you have that are weighing you down? Rest assured, through the power of Jesus Christ, we have the dynamic power of prayer right at our fingertips because the very moment we utter a word in prayer, we immediately have the attention of our heavenly Father. It truly doesn’t get any better than this!

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the confidence in knowing that when I cry out to you in prayer, you hear me. You aren’t a God that is far removed from my life - Thank you for being a God that cares about each and every detail of my life – no matter how big or how small – you are right there. Strengthen my prayer life. Give me a hunger to talk to you more and more each day. I Love you, In Jesus name, Amen.
