I Will Sing Of Your Love Forever

“For your faithful love is as high as the Heavens; your faithfulness reaches the clouds. God, be exalted above the Heavens, let your glory be over the whole earth.” Psalms 57:10-11 CSB

Do you ever find yourself just completely awestruck over God? If you are like me, the answer is “Yes, of course!” I am in awe of God and His goodness all the time. But then there comes these moments when I am just completely, even more than normal, just caught up in being completely awestruck of His goodness that I can’t hardly put words together.

This is one of those moments.

See, I recently went through a time when I wasn’t sure what my next few moments were going to unfold. Our family still has some unknowns that we are walking through. But to be honest friend - I believe I am here today because of a faithful God and the prayers of many prayer warriors.

It’s easy to focus on storms. They are all around us. Storms in our families, storms in our communities, storms around the world. But I am learning more and more that focusing on the storms only causes more chaos inside us. It can take us under and drown us in a split second.

Instead of focusing on the storm, let’s focus on the faithfulness of our God.

This morning during my quiet time, I came across Psalm 57. Our key verse is one of my favorites, “For your faithful love is as high as the Heavens; your faithfulness reaches the clouds. God, be exalted above the Heavens, let your glory be over the whole earth.” Psalms 57:10-11 CSB

God’s faithful love is as high as the Heavens and his faithfulness reaches the clouds – God be exalted above the heavens. God be exalted! Friend, He is faithful – no matter what you are going through.

King David was no stranger to storms – even before he became King. He experienced God’s deliverance over and over and over. He knew where God has brought him through and knew God would be faithful in the future. David became consumed by a desire to glorify God. This is something we should be consumed with too. Whatever storms come our way, we need to seek to magnify the Lord in the storms and through the storms.

Vs 7-9 says this:

“My heart is confident, God, my heart is confident. I will sing; I will sing praises. Wake up, my soul! Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn. I will praise you Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.” Psalm 57:7-9 CSB

Today – I just want to sing praises. Today I want to wake up the dawn. Today, I will praise you Lord for your faithful love knows no end.

What about you? What can you praise God about today? How will you wake up the dawn with the praises of your God? Who can you tell of His goodness today?

I just want to encourage you – focus on the faithfulness of your God instead of your storm. He is so unbelievably good. He never leaves us, and He never forsakes us. He goes before us. He is the God who sees us – (El Roi). He is our shelter, He is our rock, He is our fortress, He is our deliver, He is our comforter, and so much more. He is faithful even when others aren’t.

Heavenly Father,

I am so completely awestruck over your faithfulness, your love, and your goodness. Thank you for your provision and never leaving me. Thank you for being my best friend. I exalt you Lord! I exalt you and I worship you. Help us to keep our gaze locked on you and not on our storm. You are truly a good, good Father and I’m amazed by you. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen.
