Rescued From the Deep
“He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he pulled me out of deep water.”
Psalms 18:16 CSB
Dear God,
I pray for the mama who is reading this right now. The one who has been trying with all her might to stay afloat but fears that at any moment, she will drown in the chaos. Life has been anything but easy. Life has been flat-out insane. She lays down at night with a million burdens pressing against her soul and gets up with ten million more. She is trying with all she has to be the mama that she desperately desires to be. No one seems to notice the tear that escapes her eyes. She’s thankful in a way that they don’t notice because then she wouldn’t have to admit that she is falling apart. God, she needs you more than she needs air to breathe. You know who she is Lord. I pray that she will feel your presence. I pray that she will notice your extended hand and hear you whisper to her soul, “Dear Daughter, I am here. I’ve got you. Don’t worry. I’m making a way so just take my hand. I will pull you out. You will not sink – not today and not ever. I’m always here. Trust me.” I pray this for her and so much more. I praise you for rescuing her from the deep. I praise you for being her fortress, her deliverer, her rock, her shield, her stronghold, and her strength. I praise you for who you are and what you are going to do in her life and through her. I love you, In Jesus Name. Amen.
Nuggets to treasure:
I love you, Lord my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock where I seek refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I was saved from my enemies.” Psalms 18:1-3 CSB
